Ireland Water Polo Statement:
The President of Ireland Water Polo, the National Water Polo Committee, members of the water polo community and Swim Ireland wish to extend their sincere sympathy to the family of the late CONOR KELEGHAN, St Vincent’s Water Polo Club, who tragically passed away this week.
Conor, in his short water polo career, made a significant impact with his club, provincial and Irish teams and was highly regarded by all whom he came in contact with throughout the sport. Our thoughts are with Martin, Miriam and Robyn at this sad and difficult time.
As a mark of respect the Under 14 Irish Cup Championships scheduled for Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of April in Galway are postponed, until further notice.
May he rest in peace
