Covid Tracking App – A must do for everyone attending Brugha Sessions!

Under Swim Irelands Return to Water Framework, all SI affiliated Clubs must record attendances at all training sessions and every attendee (including Players, Coaches & Covid Officers) must complete a self-declaration health questionnaire BEFORE each visit to a training facility.

To support our commitment to meeting this requirement, Cathal Brugha have purchased access to a Covid-App specifically designed for the purpose.  This is a web-based application and therefore does not require to be downloaded and will work on any computer or mobile device.

Everyone intending to visit a Brugha training session must complete the questionnaire on our App and, upon a first visit, provide contact details and answer some Covid health related questions.  On subsequent visits, all of this information will again be available to you and if nothing has changed in terms of contact details or your Covid health circumstances then simply scroll through the pages to register for the training session.

If there is any negative change to your Covid health circumstances, the App will advise you that you should not attend the session and will mean that you will be refused entry to the facility in order to help protect your health and the health of others attending.

Once cleared by the App, a Cathal Brugha’s Covid Officer will meet you upon arrival at the training facility and will confirm/register your attendance.

Please be aware of the Covid-19 related restrictions placed by Swim Ireland on attendance at Club training sessions e.g. no spectators, waiting parents or other visitors, initially only Senior squad training, 'beach ready' pool bank changing, likely a seperate entrance to exit at facility, social distancing whenever possible, training initially restricted to swimming and basic skills etc.

Please be advised that compliance with the above process is mandatory for everyone attending every Cathal Brugha training session.  Failure to implement these arrangements could well have serious health implications for our Members and will result in Swim Ireland suspending our Club activities and likely sanctions by pool providers.
